Nomination Submission
-
The only requirement for nominating someone for the Board of Directors is that the nominee be a current member of the Society. However, if you don’t know whether or not someone is a member, please nominate them anyway.
-
There also is an additional text box where you may write a few sentences of endorsement about how/why the suggested nominee might be a good choice. Such information can be helpful but is not required; simply submitting a suggestion is sufficient to nominate someone.
-
The Governance Committee assembles a slate of candidates from the suggested nominees. As has been WSFS custom, the entire slate (not individual candidates) will be voted on at the annual meeting with a simple ‘yea’ or ‘nay.’ You need not nominate for all positions.
Please note: the duties described are the required minimum as outlined in the by-laws. Individuals are encouraged to use their position to work for the betterment of the Society.
